Subani Moktan is an accomplished Nepali singer, songwriter, composer, and music arranger who has spent over 15 years shaping the contemporary music scene in Nepal. Born into one of the country's most celebrated musical families, she is the daughter of famed folk-pop singer Kunti Moktan and veteran lyricist/musician Shila Bahadur Moktan. Her structured training began at the age of six with piano lessons, leading her to win the All Nepal Singing Competition at just seven years old, which earned her a debut recording opportunity with Radio Nepal.
