"Tadha" is a warm indie-acoustic single by popular Nepali singer-songwriter Yabesh Thapa, featuring the soft, atmospheric vocals of Gen-Z music sensation Oshin Karki. Released in 2026 as part of Thapa's highly anticipated album GhaamChhaya, the track beautifully explores the concept of long-distance love. Though the word Tadha translates to "far away," the song consciously steers clear of overwhelming sorrow. Instead, Thapa frames physical separation as a mere plot point in a grander love story, infusing the melody with comfort, playfulness, and a sense of deep-seated security.
The lyricism of the song relies on natural elements to bridge the gap between two lovers, using poetic lines where one talks to the sun while the other speaks to the moon. The central theme is anchored in the catchy, reassuring chorus, "Tadha tadha bhayeni, mero maya chai gaadha gaadhai cha" ("Even if we are far apart, my love for you remains deep and intense"). Thapa actually carried the conceptual idea of the song for nearly four years before its completion, finding the missing piece when Karki lent her voice to the track.
