Respect for Copyright

Nepali Lyrics respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (“DMCA”), we will respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement committed using our service.

All lyrics, chords, tablature, and artist images displayed on Nepali Lyrics are the intellectual property of their respective songwriters, composers, artists, publishers, photographers, and rights holders. Content is provided for personal, non-commercial, and educational purposes only.

Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you are a copyright owner, or authorized to act on behalf of one, and believe that copyrighted work has been copied or used in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please submit your claim via our contact form with the following information:

1. Identification of the copyrighted work — A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, or if multiple works are covered by a single notification, a representative list.
2. Identification of the infringing material — The URL(s) or other specific identification of the material on our site that you claim is infringing, with enough detail so that we may locate it.
3. Your contact information — Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
4. Good faith statement — A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
5. Accuracy statement — A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate, and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
6. Signature — A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.

How We Respond

Upon receiving a valid DMCA takedown notice, we will:

• Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content promptly
• Notify the content contributor (if applicable) that the material has been removed
• In appropriate circumstances, terminate the accounts of repeat infringers

Counter-Notification

If you believe that your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to us with the following information:

• Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
• Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district
• Your physical or electronic signature
