YABI The G.O.A.T (born Bipin Chand Thakuri) is a prominent Nepali rap artist, songwriter, and composer hailing from Mahendranagar, proudly representing the Far-Western region of Nepal. Inspired to pursue hip-hop after listening to the legendary late pioneer Yama Buddha, he officially launched his musical journey in 2016 and began releasing music under his moniker on YouTube by 2018. Known for his sharp storytelling and gritty lyricism, Bipin frequently addresses societal issues, personal struggles, and his surrounding environment. He operates as an independent force in the NepHop scene through his own record label, Young Blood, and his production house, Brikshya Production.
Over the years, YABI has solidified his position in the industry with a string of major hits, including tracks like "Raila" (featuring Nawaj Ansari), "Vagwan", "77 Drill", and "Umer 18/19". He has shown tremendous versatility by expanding his musical range, seamlessly shifting from raw hip-hop bangers to smoother melodic styles. This versatility is prominent in his 2026 releases, such as the acoustic-infused melodic track "Ajavoli" from his Boomerang mixtape, and his high-energy Valentine's Day collaboration "Cheater" featuring Kavi G. Through consistent collaborative efforts and a fiercely dedicated fanbase, he remains a highly influential figure driving the contemporary wave of Nepalese hip-hop forward.
